John Petlansky

President, CEO

Upon graduation from the University of California at Davis in 1986, John was granted an exclusive distributorship for Smith & Nephew DonJoy in San Francisco and Marin counties. His rapid success in these areas lead to the award of additional territory by DonJoy, as well as from other leading manufacturers of orthopedic medical equipment. By 1988, Pacific Medical was operating in three Western states, with 12 contracted independent sales associates.

A charismatic leader, John has demonstrated his exceptional talent at putting together and motivating cohesive, dedicated teams. The year 2003 closed with Pacific Medical Inc. conducting business in eight states, with three major manufacturers, over 70 sales associates and an exceptional support staff.

Jeffrey Leonard

Chief Financial Officer

Jeff graduated from California State University Hayward with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. Upon graduation, he spent three years as an investment broker with Woodmen Financial Resources, during which time he obtained the Series 6 and 63 securities licenses as well as a California insurance license.

As Regional Investment Manager for Coast Federal Bank, Jeff was responsible for the overall success of seven branches in his region. During his tenure at Coast Federal, he was twice awarded membership in the President's Club. Following Coast, he accepted a position with Pacific Medical as a Sales Associate. After eight successful months in the field, Jeff was promoted to the position of Financial Controller. During his tenure, Pacific Medical has continued to grow sales, making the company debt free.

Paul Wiese

VP, Sales, Marketing & Surgical

Paul received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management from Oklahoma State University. Paul recently joined Pacific Medical after two years as the Western Regional Sales Manager for Arthrex, Inc. At Arthrex, he helped transform an underdeveloped territory into one that now accounts for more than 30 percent of the Company's U.S. sales. Prior to Arthrex, Paul was a Sales Managerfor Concept, Inc./Linvatec where he was named Salesman of the Year in 1993. His work also includes a six-year stint as Marketing Manager for Texas Instruments where he received numerous awards and was twice named Salesman of the Year.

Bob McCune

VP, Rehab & Training

In 2003, Bob returned to Pacific Medical with over 20 years of experience in health care, specifically in orthopedics and trauma. His experience started with 6 years in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman and Orthopedic PA. He started at dj Ortho and held positions varying from Product Manager/Development to VP of Sales for North America. Bobís 20 years of vast experience with sales, customers and the orthopedic industry makes him a vital leader for our teams growth.

Monty Wagner

Director, Marketing & Research

Monty started at Pacific Medical in 1996 as a Regional Consultant for the Northern California territory. As a result of continued growth and expansion of the orthopedic industry, Monty was brought inhouse in 2000 as a Research and Field Specialist to assist with marketing, representative support and new product development. Monty's professional experience has been 16 years in the medical field, 6 years in hospital-based surgical and orthopedic technology, 4 years in hospital and private practice radiology, and 6 years in sales and support in the orthopedic industry.

Chad Sindel

Director, Product Development & Sales

Chad received his Bachelor of Science degree in Managerial Economics and his Master of Science degree in Applied Economics from the University of California, Davis. Chad joined Pacific Medical in January 2002 as a Product Specialist for Performance Health Technologies, Inc. to develop and coordinate the regional sales and marketing efforts for the Sports RAC product line. Most recently, Chad took on the role as Director of Product Development & Sales, working closely with management and the field to bring new product ideas from manufacturing to market and cultivate Top Shelf LLC.

Steven Benner

Director, Information Technology

Steve Benner joined the Pacific Medical team in September of 2009 as a Systems Engineer in the Information Technology department. Steve has had a profound love and interest for technology since childhood and has spent the majority of his career working in the field of Information Technology and Data Processing. Steve graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management of Information Systems and has an extensive background with not only a number of different technologies and environments but also Information Security as well. His industry certifications and accreditations include those from Cisco, Citrix, ISC2, Microsoft and VMWare.

Since coming on board, Steve has architected and implemented our current infrastructure while reducing the total cost of ownership utilizing virtualization strategies on both the front and backend computing landscape. Steve oversees the day-to-day operations and infrastructure needs of the organization as well as continues to deliver upon the company’s IT strategic, technological and business initiatives.

Brent Santos

Director, Surgical Sales

Brent received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and minors in Chemistry and Economics from California State University, Chico. Brent joined the Management team at Pacific Medical's highest grossing territory. Prior to Pacific Medical, Brent was named Salesman of the Year as a Territory Manager for an Exxon Bulk Oil Distribution Company.

Mark Weaver

Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Attorney

Mark joined Pacific Medical as C.O.O. in May 2008. Mark received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from San Diego State Universtiy and his Juris Doctorate at Golden Gate University of law. Mark joins the management team with thirteen years of legal practice both in private practice and as in-house counsel. He has extensive experience in operations, contracts, transactional law, business law, and regulatory compliance.

Michael Richerson

Director, Hospital Partnerships

Michael joined Pacific Medical as Director of Hospital Partnerships in March of 2009. Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Southern Illinois University and his Masters of Business Administration from Pepperdine University. Michael joins the management team with over 20 years of experience in healthcare administration, most recently as the Administrative Director of Spine, Pain and Rehabilitation at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. He has extensive experience in strategic planning, program development, operations and regulatory compliance.
